Mel helped us decide which improvements to make to maximize our return. She watched over the house and the improvements we made because we had relocated far before listing, and she got the right photographer and invested in the best marketing tools to maximize our home's exposure(we loved being able to click on a location in the house and see an image of what it looked like). She told us it would fetch a good price as it was in a great neighborhood and was totally updated. We thought she was asking too much, but her laser focus on comparables that were truly comparables, got us the best return possible. Some real estate agents are simply there to sell the house with as little work as possible. NOT MEL. She invested blood, sweat and we think maybe a few tears (sorry Mel) to get us our selling price. Would we recommend her? He!! YES!!! There are a lot of agents out there that seem to make empty promises. Our recommendation, if you want to sell short, go with them. Otherwise, call Mel. Word of warning…. Mel does not pull punches. She tells it like it is, she is a bull-dog (Mel – that is a compliment:), and we would, without hesitation, have her represent us in any transaction in the future.
